We sell artist, collectible, and vintage dolls; doll accessories; paper dolls; collectible books and reference books; figurines; plush; sometimes music-related items; kitchen items; gift items; and VHS and DVD movies. Some of our collectibles include Ginny and other Vogue Dolls, Helen Kish, Robert Tonner and Effanbee dolls, Precious Moments, Madame Alexander, Disney, Raggedy Ann and Andy, and variety of others. 

 *Orders usually ship 2-5 days after payment is received and cleared. We contact you by email with tracking and insurance nos. PayPal non-echeck payments clear almost immediately for fastest shipping. Credit card  payments for U.S. and international orders, checks and money orders for U.S. only, Amazon payments for USA orders (or USA address orders only), take longer. International orders are best going through PayPal for this site, but require you to contact me at dkkdolls@aol.com or dkkdolls@gmail.com for us to make a PayPal invoice. PayPal is more certain for international orders, but I am in the process of changing to a credit card company that can process international cards, but all details must be absolutely correct at to billing  address, and I will have to notify you of the shipping charges that will be added after the order is placed. There's still things, I may need to update, so if you have problems ordering, please send an email to dkkdolls@aol.com or dkkdolls@gmail.com with item number as listed on the site, your name, email address, address, and phone no., and I can send a PayPal invoice to you, or you can call in a credit card no. at 714-974-3779.  It is looking good for credit card payments through the new Square One processor after a successful transaction.

 We figure shipping for each international order after it is placed. Wait for us to contact you with shipping choices before paying by PayPal (we send an invoice); credit cards will be charged after we figure the shipping and contact you. We will need your name, address, and email address to respond to requests for shipping quotes. If international packages are small and weigh under 4 pounds, they can go to most countries by First Class Package International with Endicia, InsurePost, or ShipSaver insurance at a savings over Priority Mail International, our default means of shipping internationally. 1st Class International Packages can take up to 6-8 weeks to reach their final destination from circumstances beyond our control, though it is usually 4 to 6 weeks.

Up to 120-150 items are on a page. Most pages are arranged by stock numbers which are based on types of dolls. Numbers tend to be oldest items with lowest numbers and newest with highest numbers, though for some manufacturers like Tonner and Effanbee, we have different stock numbers for different collections. Most listings can be expanded to view larger photos or pictures and complete information by clicking on the heading or small photograph for most browsers (late version of Firefox may not do this). More information page photographs will enlarge when clicked on all but the Home page. Recently the Home page links have worked with some browsers.

Madame Alexander 8 inch Russia, No. 548, from 1983, is a hard plastic Wendy doll with a brunette wig with an elaborate hairdo with a long loop wrapped around the front of her head, and moving blue eyes. In 1983 all dolls were stamped Alexander on their backs and painted in a way that was known as the bisque look. She is wearing a red and white dress with red trim, a white apron with red trim, red boots. She has been displayed under cover and restrung. Retired, excellent, in-the-box, with booklet and looks like new.

Madame Alexander 10 Inch Nomsa Celebrates Kwanza No. 15354 from the 1995 holiday collection, is a stunning black (African-American or African) Cissette fashion doll. Her long black hair is styled in ringlets with some of them draping behind her back and others put up in her burgundy and gold turban with gold looped earring sewn to it. Like other Cissette dolls in 1995, her eyes do move on their own when she is laid down, but they move easily with assistance. Dressed in gold burgundy, browns and blacks, she is wearing a hooded, cape-like burgundy and black robe lined with gold and trimmed in gold brocade and tassel over a gold striped dress that secures at the neck with a golden hoop collar. There is a yellow with golden jewel near the neckline at the front of the dress and golden elastic wristbands. She also wears golden tights and high heel shoes. She comes in near mint condition except for the factory flaw noted and a box that shows wear and fading of the letters. She has been kept closed inside her box and has been in a smoke-free, animal-free environment. The coloring of her dress is even, and not like the glare of the flash. The doll offered is a 21 inch composition and stuffed cloth body baby doll from c. 1920s or earlier. This doll belonged to a friend's deceased mother. She has a sweet closed mouth facial expression with rosy cheeks and nice painting of her lips, lashes, and eyebrows. Her head, arms, and legs are composition. There are minor scrapes and scratches with one whitish streak, though on a whole her face is in far better shape than most composition dolls from this era that I have seen. She has a short reddish brown mohair wig over molded hair, with the mohair matching the old wig netting so that sparse places are not as noticeable from the distance as they would otherwise be. She has glass-like blue and amber eyes with white painted around the edge. Her face, arms, and legs, are composition. Her body is stuffed cloth that is in excellent and clean condition. The tip of one finger on her left hand is broken but she has all other fingers, hands, toes, and feet. There are some minor scrapes. The close-up photos show her condition. There are no markings on this doll. She is wearing a vintage-style pastel baby dress with white and pale blue embroidering that is in excellent condition. Her outfit is stitched partly on her and closes with a pin at the neckline. She is also wearing a cream colored older apron with a pink floral print hemline and edging to pocket. Her outfit is in excellent condition. The tights, socks, and shoes, are newer and added. The newer blanket is included. She is wearing she is wearing an exquisite, one of a kind one aoku or tunic and trousers. The rich pink and green silk is embroidered with camellias, a symbol of spring. Tiny frogs or knots hold the jacket closed. Her feet were not bound as were those of many other 12 year old girls in China in the mid 19th century,and she has green silk slippers with pink floral motifs on platforms. She wears this costume that her mother made before she died as she walked across China to the Sung household as an orphan where she was teased about the size of her feet until they saved the family. The preowned set is missing its display container, but the doll is in near mint condition and the book is near mint except for a crinkle at the bottom of the front cover, and can be easily enjoyed free of the restrictive case. The preowned set comes mint and sealed inside its original heavy cardboard box that opens like a book to reveal the doll on one side and the book on the other. The doll has her hang tag. This doll, as others in this collection did not come with undergarments as she was intended for display. She represents a girl in India in the 1930s when it struggled for freedom after over 200 years of British rule. Mary Hoyer 14 inch, slender hard vinyl strung doll, Signed Doll from 1997, put together special and signed on the foot by the granddaughter of Mary Hoyer who was at the head of the company in 1997; has auburn ringlets wig, and has brown glass stationery eyes. Her custom designed costume includes a tagged original teal print dress and black leatherette shoes. She looks almost like 1940s and 1950s dolls, but her eyes do not move, and she is a bit more slender than they were. This doll never had a box as she was custom assembled, as were many other of these dolls in 1997. Mary Hoyer's granddaughter designed this doll for me in 1997 when she attended a The Modern Doll Convention and show in San Diego, California. Mint condition.
