Goldilocks Collectible Doll by Dianna Effner. Marketed by Ashton-Drake 1989-1990 Goldilocks, an original issue from the Heroines of the Fairy Tales Forest collection, is 15 inches high and includes her bowl of porridge. This beautiful porcelain doll is crafted from an original work of art by Dianna Effner as an exclusive edition in the Heroines from the Fairy Tale Forests collection for the Edwin M. Knowles China Company. The Knowles Fine China Company has been creating fine china since 1854. Goldilocks has a porcelain head, hands, and feet, and a stuffed cloth body. She has a blonde wig styled in curls with a side part and lavender bow, brown glass-like eyes, and a an impish closed mouth smiling expression. She is wearing a dress with a white top with floral embroidery on the collar and a blue, maroon, and purple floral print on dark blue skirt with white pocket with embroidered flowers, white under skirt, white stockings, and red shoes. Complete in the original box with Certificate of Authenticity No/ 2 B, which is signed by Dianna Effner and Richard Keith of Edwin M. Knowles Company. This is a limited edition. Production ended December 1990 when the master mold was destroyed. New, mint-in-the-box with papers, booklet, and metal doll stand. It also includes original shipping box.
