'Brides from Around the World Paper Dolls' by Tom Tierney, published by Dover Publishing and copyrighted in 2005 has 32 pages. These paper dolls and costumes need to be cut out. There are 4 basic dolls represent Asia, South America, Africa, and Europe to model the 28 different costumes. Their gowns represent faithful reproductions of regional attire as well as modern interpretations of traditional styles, including Celtic robes of medieval Britain, a scarlet Indian sari, a Chinese silk tunic, a white satin dress from Ghana, a Balinese sarong, a Jewish bridal gown from Sheba, Japanese kimonos, a Hungarian lace dress, and 20 more gorgeous costumes. Notes on the inside front and back covers tell of cultural traditions. New, mint condition.
