Johnny Gruelle's Hardcover Book, Raggedy Ann Betsy Bonnet String, Written and Illustrated by Johnny Gruelle, copyrighted and printed in 1943. Johnny Gruelle Company is the publisher of this First Edition book. This book is complete with its original color and black-and-white drawings, and it has 96 pages. It has all of its pages, cover, all black and white and color pictures; and it is in fair condition. The top cover and pages of book have spots from water damage, but still has story, pictures, and easily turning pages. This book is rarer than most Raggedy Ann books, but pricing reflects its flaws. The dolls and toys come to life whenever Marcella and her family are away or asleep, and sometimes they go to the Deep Woods or other outside locations.
